Always wondered how Bava did some of the things he did...this is but one small fragment of all his great effects, but this is really, really cool. He was a genius. Period.

Lo stesso principio fu usato per realizzare il bellissimo "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" di R.Mamoulian nel 1931, ma cio` non toglie niente alla genialita` assoluta di Bava.

Cheap, simple but effective technique to show aging without make-up or complicated visual effects. Is it just me or does Bava gives a bit of a look of a young dog caught doing something it shouldn't?

E quindi...? Con sommo rincrescimento di Mamoulian, ma soprattutto dei grafici milanesi delle sei di sera, tutto ciò non è stato realizzato in PHOTOSHOP!!! Che disdetta.
