My Garmin 2555lmt review

trying to do a quick review of my new Garmin 2555lmt, didn't end up being so quick. Previous to this I used a 255t and a 265wt.

Hey could you answer a question for me? I registered my product as the instructions said and it said my maps are updated but when i turn the thing on it says that there is no map data available? i tried updating it and I used the garmin liveupdater but it keeps saying error...please help!

@MikeTuanNguyen I have no idea, i'm not a gps expert. Try uninstaling it and then reinstalling the map updater? I had some problems at first too, just go through everything step by step and make sure everything's been updated.

I have had alot of trouble with this. How do you turn on the GPS? When I go to "view map" it says the gps is off. Help anyone

@kaiser8454 I can't answer your second question, but about turning the gps on you just press the button at the top, be sure it has been charged for about 6 hrs via computer usb first. To turn if off you have to hold the button at the top for 10 seconds, if you just press the button in attempt to turn it off, it will put it into a sleep mode, which will drain your battery So the next time you go to turn it on and you wonder why it'snot turning on, the battery is dead.

@moretorque Hey what sup man. I had a question regarding Garmin 2595LMT. I know its a different model than yours but its from the same Garmin class. So maybe u can help me. I was wondering if your model came with a dashboard-mount or was it only a window-mount? If it doesn't come with that is there other dashboard-mounts that I could buy separately that will be compatible with this 5" screen model? Thank you for your advice.
