This is What Women Want: A Speak-Out the Issues and Views for the Presidential Election

The Center for New Words' election project, called "This Is What Women Want," has hosted speak outs across the country focused on amplifying the voices of real women to the candidates and the media. The organization is hosting a speak out in each debate city the evening before the debate.

Gender Matters of the Margaret Cuninggim Women's Center, Women and Gender Studies and Anthropology collaborated to host this event Oct. 6 at Vanderbilt, the evening before the televised presidential debate taking place on Oct. 7 at Belmont University.
