Respect for krump dance, but the music that I've heard is pretty awful - doesn't have any of the complexity or virtuosity of old skool dj-ing and scratching.
Still, why should we be snobs about vernacular music and dance? Do we want this to become ballet? In my mind, purists=haters; keep it fresh, keep it original, whatever that means for you!

Show some r'spect for Bboying being that is 1 of the 4 elements of hiphop. W/o hiphop, krump wouldnt even be here. Bboying is an intimate combination of creativity, musicology and unpredictability.
Krump is *highly* influenced by both Bboying and popping, so as a mutant offspring is seen somewhat as an ugly stepchild to hiphop.
Bboying will always be the original "hiphop" dance, but krump has its place...somewhere in the community. It hasn't earned its full recognition as of yet

Bboying is known as a pillar of hip-hop. It is THE real hip-hop dance. I'd pick bboying over krumping anyday.
