Wiimote Stuff: Wiimote on Windows, part 1

Here's a quick video on what you can use the Wiimote for. With a Bluetooth adapter, you can connect the Nintendo Wii Remote (aka Wiimote) to a Windows (or Linux, or Mac) PC. It seemed hard to do on Linux so I used Windows in this example. Using a program called GlovePIE, you can use the Wiimote buttons as control for emulators (like a gamepad) or control the mouse pointer with the motion or IR using WiinRemote. Note that you'll need a sensor bar or something like a sensor bar if you want to use the IR.

Over the summer I got the Wiimote working on Dolphin (for the few Wii games that actually work on it) but my only computer that can run Dolphin (my newer laptop) has a broken screen now.

hey, i was wondering, were can i ge the "GLovePIE.exe" program from... i typed the program's name into google, and it didnt come up with anything......

by the way, you can use 2 tealight candles at each end of the screen to create a sensor bar...

Widcomm, that's the only one in Windows that the 221 supports.
