That voice! back when he had more range. it's obvious that the actors like each other -- the teasing comes easily. :) Thank you!

Thank goodness Mendoncacorreia is right there to pick up the pieces, so to speak, from sumsumcordis closing his/her account! To lose the scene with Rochester sitting by the turnstile... it doesn't bear thinking!

I adore Michael Jayston-sexy man back in the 60s-90's

@mendoncacorreia I sit and I am corrected. Instead of, I stand corrected. True, he had an amazing intuition. :)
Plus, he likes her, it is clear. ;-)

@annwags - From chapter XXII of the novel:
"Mr. Rochester had sometimes read my unspoken thoughts with an acumen to me incomprehensible: in the present instande he took no notice of my abrupt vocal response; but he smiled at me with a certain smile he had of his own, and which he used but on rare occasions."
You watch this in one adaptation, and one adaptation only, of the novel: "Jane Eyre" (1973)...

It was just a little before 2:00 that I noticed Sorcha's teeth--I think they make her more endearing.
Could someone kindly inform me of the title of this orchestration? I found it here on YT, but I lost it.

It's Edward Elgar's 'Introduction and Allegro' for Strings (Quartet and Orchestra), Op. 47 (1904-05).
You find an excellent performance of this orchestral composition in my own "Jane Eyre (1973)" playlist. Enjoy!

@commenting2008 - So I gather! But Elgar's 'Introduction and Allegro' for Strings fit like a glove in "Jane Eyre" (1973), I think; and I find it a real pity they didn't use it more abundantly in this adaptation of Charlotte Brontë's immortal novel. Have you ever watched both my videos "Jane Eyre (1973) - Musical score" here in 'YouTube'?
