She is a hypocritical nutcase and her son is even worse. She achieved success because she was able to get a college degree and thanks to the progressive women's movement that made it possible for a woman's voice to be heard.
She attacks the feminist movement without which she would not have a vote, a voice or go to college which was once only an option for men. She maybe elderly now but her contribution to poltics was to help get Reagan elected, who is still loathed world wide.

I have no idea where the ferocity and animalism towards Republicans comes from, especially towards an Elderly woman who despite such opposition, has achieved success and although many may not agree with her views, could surely appreciate her contribution to Political debate and many many issues.
