  • It depends, you can change the lenses like on and SLR, but there are two kit options as standard. One kit will have the camera with a flat 20mm/f1.7 lens, and the other with a 14-45mm/f3.5-5.6 zoom.

The reason I went for the GF1 was the superb image quality despite the sensor. The comparable Sony NEXs and Samsungs for example produced a bit disappointing images, but that might also be because of cheap lenses.

  • Why would anyone want a m43 camera? They have tiny sensors and bad quality ISO in low light. People are better off getting the Sony NEX or Samsung NX or even the Fujifilm x100 because they all have full APS-C sensors. The funny thing is that the Sony NEX-5 is actually smaller than any m43 camera! It's smaller and has a bigger sensor! m43 FAIL.

  • GF1 has a lot of features i a relatively small size, although it is reaching the price point fo the DSLRs though. Just picked up the GF1 and have to say that I'm pretty happy with it. I posted some video samples taken with it as well.

  • is this camera better than the leica d-lux 4..both in picture and video...

  • Full HD is 1080p

this is HD Lite (not Full HD) so is 720p

  • what is a full HD..

  • battery life?

    Thanks

  • Can you do manual focusing as well as aperture control while video recording? Thanks!

  • Whats the Optical Times Zoom on this camera?
