Thanks Bryon(Brian?), I really enjoyed that trip. I love that countryside and hope to hike it one day. It's on my Bucket-List :o) Have you ever done pieces of the Pacific Crest Trail? @rainbowhiker Hi John. Yes, I've talked with my Brother-in-law about hiking the Pacific Crest trail. Neither of us is in any shape to tackle it now though. I would classify it as a walk for experts only. But maybe after we are both retired, we will have the time to really do a long walk. Certain parts of it are legendary for beauty. In particular The John Muir Trail is supposed to be magnificent! If I walk it, I will definitely want to share it with others too. Thanks for commenting. Brian.

Hi Sunbeam. Yes! We can do a remake of "The Sound Of Music"! Did you see that movie? Ever wonder, like me, where the Orchestra and chorus were hiding? hehe!

It's still not a good time for a visit for me because Matt and I are still building his garage. And the Winter rains are here! But of course, we can do a day hike anytime! I hope you know I like to tease and joke alot, just to get a reaction! : ) Bri.

Two back packs?....I thought you would carry all my stuff, while I waltzed along the top of the ridges, singing and dancing about in a full flowing skirt looking pretty for a YT video......LOL :)

I havent forgotten about our potential rendezvous - just awaiting the universe to present the perfect opportunity for me to get over there....I think a day hike might be all I can manage to begin with - but we will see....lol :)

Yes, it's half love of Nature, and half "my therapy". Much cheaper than Doctors and Medicines ; )

I'm one of those odd people, who feel overloaded just by regular living. So, I need this for balancing out the "too much" with a day or two of "too little". Hehe! : )

Oh, FYI: I've got two backpacks and two tents, and two sleeping bags, etc. Hint, Hint! Hehe! Sorry, didn't mean to scare you! Bri.

Yes, not only is "Nature always there", but there is something for everyone... Wide open spaces like you see in this video, or Lush, moist, mossy-ferns and Redwood trees in the Valleys, or the Seashore with the ocean waves and sea-creatures! Plus, if you drive for half a day, you can be in the high pines, granite cliffs and snow! Brian : )
