Great job you guys. That was pretty good.

I'm also a left-handed Irish flute player. I was wondering who made your left-handed flute, cuz I'm in the market for a keyed one. Thanks!

Great playing you guys! Zac are there any other flute makers you would recommend?

@mcconfi, Thanks! There are a ton of great makers out there; Olwell, Grinter, Murray, Wilkes, Copley, Lehart, Hamilton, Cotter, Noy, Doyle, Holmes and McNaughton, McGee, etc. Do a google search for Brad Hurley's flute page. He has contacts for all of the folks making wooden flutes worldwide. Good luck!

Our flutes were both made by Dave Copley of Loveland, Ohio. Dave is a great guy and master flute maker. He is well worth getting in touch with.
All the best,
Zac

That left-handed flute hurts my brain! How do you play that? Is it one of those things that you have to start playing that way or can you/they swap between playing that way and right-handedly? Neat!

Beau is right handed, but he started playing whistle with the right hand on the top (reversed from how most righties play) and as such he prefers a left-handed flute. You can sort of swap the flutes, but the keys are in the opposite places.
Cheers,
Zac
