Corona - Rhythm Of The Night ( HQ 1080p HD Upscale )

"The Rhythm of the Night" is the debut single by Corona. It was released in 1994 and is inspired from an english pop song called "Save me" performed by the Say When!, released in 1987. It was the first single from their 1994 debut album The Rhythm of the Night. The song was released first in 1993, then on August 5, 1994 for the remixes version. Particularly devoted to the dancefloors, it had a great success, reaching the highest positions in various Singles Charts around the world. It peaked at #1 in Italy. It also reached #11 on the U.S. Billboard chart in early 1995. In the United Kingdom it was released in September 1994 and reached #2, kept off the top by Whigfield's Saturday Night, and stayed in the UK Singles Chart for 18 weeks. The song was prominently featured in arthouse movie Beau travail, directed by Claire Denis.

Firstly I want to say to the people who released this video on DVD, that you should be shot with a rifle or beheaded with an axe for releasing this video into the world with such dreadful and appalling quality. The only good thing about it was the 5.1 dolby surround sound that you bothered to include. The grainy, noisy and blocky video is truly disgusting to watch on any screen. Color is also bland, dull and lifeless. Thanks a lot for one of the crappiest DVD releases ever.

I checked youtube to see if anything had come out of the woodwork that improved on this and I could find nothing. So I took up the challenge to try and do something with this video. The amount of processing involved was staggering to say the least. Endless hours of killing noise and trying to breathe life into a dead carcass of a video isn't easy, but I think I pulled it off in quite a good way. It's not perfect, but then again the original source dvd vob file was atrocious. If any of you have the original dvd vob file you can compare the difference and see the amazing restoration I have done to this video. I'm very pleased with it and I hope you are also. As it is going online via youtube, the 5.1 audio has been mixed down to dolby pro logic stereo. This is the best quality for this Corona song that you will find on youtube. Sit back and enjoy my hard work!
