Music Makes Me . . . Do the Things I Never Should Do! -- an exciting, two-part musical celebration of familiar favorites and quirky gems -- will be presented by The Choral Connection song-and-dance troupe and The Saline Big Band, one night only, Saturday, June 11, 2011, 8 PM, at the Morris Lawrence Building, on the Washtenaw Community College campus, 4800 E. Huron River Drive, Ann Arbor, MI.
The Choral Connection has cooked up a delectable feast of song and dance that celebrates all things musical, edible, and occasionally regrettable. This 90-minute musical revue is a mash-up of numbers that are funky, familiar and fun, along with tunes that are offbeat, original, and over-the-top. But wait, there's more! The audience then moves into the lobby, set up as a jazz club, for swing dancing or just listening to the hot sounds of The Saline Big Band. Refreshments and beverages will be available for purchase.
Advance tickets ($20) are available online at www.brownpapertickets.com or by phone (800) 838-3006.
