Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is currently visiting China and has met with the CCP's Prime Minister, Wen Jiabao. Their discussion focused on human rights abuses in China and Tibet. Here's more.

During the meeting, human rights issues in China and Tibet were the main theme. The two leaders also discussed Australia-China trade ties and global warming.

A day before the meeting, Mr. Rudd appealed to China's communist regime to communicate with Tibetans in order to solve the problems there.

Mr. Rudd says the Australian government is very concerned about conditions in Tibet and that he woluld address this issue during his meeting with Wen Jiabao.

Mr. Rudd says he's not afraid to touch on sensitive issues regarding the Chinese regime.

His visit to China will last for four days and he is expected to meet with the CCP leader Hu Jintao on Saturday.

  • he was a parasite

  • Even though I don't agree with many of the fellow youtuber's comments that Rudd is an idiot, I still get great satisfaction seeing our democracy at work: a TRUE democracy - knowing that we can bag the absolute crap out of our leaders and get away with it.... whereas if any chinese citizens said anything bad about China... well, they'd prolly need to hide somewhere lol.

My opinion: Keep it up Kevin. You're doing great. 10 points.

  • You SHUT your mouth and don't speak about our leader like that you your fool, your only 18 and have just been able to vote, He is your leader and you will repect him as such. For him to work on our relationships with a large country then that and to speak on such issues. Rudd has bigger ball then you ever will

  • As if the president of one of the largest countries in the world would listen to the PM of a nation like Australia ... learn your place Rudd

  • True - Qld Govt has sold out our land rights to 'Brigalow Corporation'.

We do not own the cown right called the 'fee simple'.

  • as if the communist dictators in control of China are going to give a damn what Rudd says...what a joke...who does he think he's impressing...drop the "look-at-me-i-wanna-be-a-statesman" attitude and fix the problems we have in Australia first...Stop all this jetting around at taxpayers' expense. Be responsible, solve the nations economic issuesfirst and then,if you must, go and travel- at your own expense !

  • Yeh, agreed. Rudd is an idiot.

Australian Politicians are weak as anything, at least John Howard made us a debt free economy.

Rudd has spent all our surplus and he is a bitch to the Reserve bank of Australia.

We don't even own our own Land.

  • Australian PM Mr Rudd a gutless wonder cant take up the issue of abducted Australian children in japan or whaling. No Sack ! , eh Rudd

  • you are not only disgracing yourself but also your own nationality by commenting on your nation's leader in such a way. u call him a dog? back it up.

  • Mr Rudd, fix your back yard before you try and solve other peoples problems. You should be concern about Australians first ie. home affordability, fuel prices and taxes on fuel. You force people to live further from CBD and force them to drive further it's getting do a point where we will not be able to afford to drive to work, see how your economy handles that , Mr Rudd you are a worthless dog and you know it.
