Obamacare Protest, Troy, MI 8-6-2009 Part II

This video shows about half of the protest near Representative Gary Peters' Troy, MI office. The other half was in front of his office building itself. Note the lack of an "angry mob" or anything "fishy".

Its not insurance! It's Welfare (payed for by the tax payer)

I say allow people to buy from out of state companies even world companies (increase competition) and reduce the role of private insurance's grip on people all the way around.

No more governmental mandates that you need to have private coverage.

Look at Laysk and plastic surgery, Both are not covered by any insurance (government or Private) and the prices continue to go down each year.

Why pay an additional cost for a service?

Hell yes!  You are EXACTLY right! Look at Botox - not covered under any insurance and when it first came out it was thousands of dollars, now it's $75 (not that I'd know or anything). :-)

KARStarla: I shot the video, and was there for the whole protest. About 90% of the time, we couldn't even talk to each other, the car horns (and one tractor/trailer horn) drowned out speech. It was an awesome protest.
