well obviously we are going to agree to disagree. I respect your views even though they arn't the same as mine. I think the fact that we were able to continue this convo without it getting ugly and ignorant (like most ppl do on here) says a lot. I see that your name says "kollegegirl" and I wish the best for you. We need more sisters like you representing our community in a positive way. @15gmt Continued....And The promises I remember Bush making all pertained to wars, I don't remember him or his administration making any kind of progress. They did a horrid job and now everybody is blaming and rushing Obama. Yes we all want change, but everybody needs to calm down, wait and pray (to whoever you believe in). The job issue, we all know how that issue came to be and I believe that we (the American people) can assist in changing that.

@15gmt Since he made a lot of promises, don't you think he is going to need alot of time to back up those promises. No disrespect to Bush, but what promises did he make and keep? He promised to get Osama Bin Laden and track down Al Quaeda and that didn't happen. He promised that he would find the "weapons of mass destruction" and there were none. We when from Afghanistan to Iraq. Obama's spending went to the economy, the environment, education, etc. Bush's spending went to the rich and a war.

@KollegeGirl13 B/C HE TALKED A LOT AND MADE INFINITE PROMISES!He knew he only got elected for ONE(1)term not two.4 years isn't enough to do much but democrats controlled congress.They COULD HAVE DONE ALOT.Yes the president can't do everything by himself but he does take credit and responsibilty just like all of them do whether they succeed or fail.He set himself up for failure.We ALL wanted change.Not jus democrats.Tough times and the only change has been passing a bill that cost more than wars.

@15gmt Bush was in office for eight years. Obama has been in for two years. How do you expect for Obama to fix our country's problems in two years. It can not happen. We don't a quick fix, we need a solution that will last for future generations to come.

Ok so what. Thats why the ppl pf america elected a different party to fix it not add to it. Bush isn't there anymore so how can he fix what he caused? @15gmt Well when will the republicans take responsibility for what they done? They blame Obama for the deficit that GEORGE BUSH caused. Republicans spent trillions of dollars on pointless wars, tax cuts for the wealthy, etc. As least obama is spending money on issues that matter like healthcare. We need healthcare. Canada has universal healthcare why can the United States have the same thing. Our country is the most powerful and rich country in the world; why not have it?

@mlessova Isn't it about time, Democrats start to take responsibility?The Democrats controlled Congress while Bush was President and they still control it.Obama has been in office over 18 months.When he took office we were $400 billion in debt.With Obama,Pelosi and Reid we are now $1.4 trillion in debt.The economy is in horrible shape!Unemployment is at its highest level.We have health care reform bill that's a disaster.I think the time has come to stop bashing Bush.Obama take responsibility!
