It is ashame that this person obviously cared about the bird, but she failed to do what was best for it. She should have brought it to a licensed wildlife rehabber who would have been able to properly care for it. Instead, it got minimal care, if even that, and was released probably too weak to even stand or fly. It probably died shortly thereafter. To find a rehabber, contact US Fish and Wildlife or research one on-line. PLEASE NEVER try to care for injured/sick wildlife yourself. Too sad
