American Flag Afghan - How to make the Stars

I have finally found the time to get the American Flag afghan design out of my head and written down as a pattern. Those that want to help me make sure it's correct, I would love the help. This video shows how I made the 100 stars for the afghan. Of course, these are just stars, so this could be used for attaching to gifts, etc.

When will the video be done for making the strips? And adding in the blue? I'm ready to make this but don't have any idea on it except for the stars.

I'll try to make a video of making the afghan. Right now I'm creating the pattern (I did the blanket backwards - out of my head instead of from a written pattern). After I get that pattern out, I will do a video series on the making of it.  For color change, I do a normal color change; working the last yo of a dc or sc with the new color and dropping the old color.

I have written the pattern out. The pattern for the stars is included in the pattern for the flag. currently working on the american flag afgan the first row you have to crochet 125 chains then add blue then crochet 100 chains
