barrel racing at Triple Creek arena in Benson NC

Running the morning exhibits. It was fun. We were just practicing and getting him going good since he did bad the day before. He ran this pattern with a 19 for the open 4d run (and that was without opening him up and with some bad turns) I don't need tips or rude comments so keep them to yourself. I've been barrel racing my whole life. Everything Blaze knows i've taught him so I say he's doing pretty good for not having pro training. Have fun watching = )

@BarrelRacer955 Thanks, he is great. His times and patterns have gotten better too. We are now running 16 second patterns sometimes faster. He runs best in sand.

@horseloverapril Really? Thats a big difference. :) Yeah, my mare runs better in sand too. I just started running barrels competivly last summer. And i'm getting almost 17 second runs. So i'm pretty happy about that.

@BarrelRacer955 Yeah. He has improved a bunch. I really got into it about 3 years ago so that would have made Blaze 4 then. I didn't push him too hard then cause I didn't want to risk breaking him down but I think he is formed well enough to be pushed a little harder now. That is a good time. Blaze should have a wider chest for barrel racing and we need a better place and way to practice. If we had that I think we could be faster. Oh well. I'm happy with my pony. Glad your horse is doing good.

@horsecrazy236 It's an awesome association. I enjoyed being in it. I wish I had got to do more races through them but I got really busy and didn't renew my membership this year. I think it's best when you train your own horse because if gives you the chance to really get to know him. Thanks though.
