Game Republic in association with Screen Yorkshire hosted its second annual student showcase on 05 May 2009 at Sheffield Hallam University. Representatives from Yorkshire's world class games industry gathered to judge students' work prior to an evening awards ceremony, panel and networking event. Awards were given for Game Technology, Game Art and Best Team. Watch our vodcast to see the students talk about their projects and listen to interviews with course leaders and industry experts including Martyn Brown (Team 17), Jamie Sefton (Game Republic) and Toby Allen (Sumo Digital).
Well i have about 12 lever arch files about a game i have designed, i just dont have the software, hardware or manpower to build it. but i'll see what they think.

nice idea but they don't do that sort of thing there area is Sports, Racing and SEGA All star games. The only MMORPG made in the UK is Runescape and that's not very impressive. But you never know they could move into that arena if they think they can make enough money out of it.
