Recipe for Oatmeal Candy Clumps: 1 cup uncooked Quaker Oatmeal, 1/2 cup Florida Crystals Sugar, 1/3 cup Hershey's cocoa and 1/4 cup butter. Melt butter in sauce pan, pour in oatmeal, mix well, pour in sugar, and cocoa and mix well, dont overcook, cook for approx 40-50 secs, stirring the mixture well. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before clumping, so the butter has time to congeal. Use a a 12cupcake tin , use your hands to form clumps and place in tin, this is where the fun is for the kids, playing with the batter. You can use the sides of tin forms to help make the clump form. Place in the cupcake tin(s) into the freezer for 10 mins. Left over crumbles can be used as a topping for cakes, yogurt, pudding..anything to add a little texture and taste.
