Scotland travel: Linlithgow Palace. James VI and Mary Queen of Scots were both born here. Our wonderful tour guide gave us lots of gorey yet humorous details about the Palace, which really brought the place to life. The supplemental light on the video camera could not penetrate the pitch black of some of those corridors! It was great. Linlithgow palace is about an hour drive from where we stayed at Dalhousie Castle, and about two hours from Culzean Castle. Real People having Real Fun!
