Great Lake Swimmers vocalist Tony Dekker has developed a sterling track record for gentle ruminations on nature, beauty, conflict and the human body. In this three-song set, "Everything Is Moving So Fast" and "Pulling on a Line" were both drawn from Great Lake Swimmers' latest album, Lost Channels. The set closes with my favorite Great Lake Swimmers song, "Various Stages" (from 2005's Bodies & Minds).

  • his voice is so.... it seems so innocent to me somehow 5 stars :]

  • I don't always watch a tiny desk concert all the way through, but I didn't want this one to end. I'm seeing them next week in Ann Arbor with my daughter---can't wait.

  • Tony Dekker is a great lyricist.....he translates his message very well.

  • I love the fact that many of the artists on this series seem so shy and introverted and at a loss for words when they have to talk. But then when they start to sing some kind of magic happens and they seem above the rest of us, emotionally, spiritually, and in terms of their many talents.

  • beautiful....

  • their lyrics are pure poetry

  • @justshoe whats that suppose to mean?

  • @arfurlife new?! you're kidding right?

  • Awesome video, but i'm not sure why the camera man keeps zooming in on his ear...
