very true, Sheikh Abdel Baset Abdus-samad is better than Qari Sadien. But he was his student cuz Sheikh abdel baset passed away.
you should listen to Surah Al Takweer from Sheikh abdel baset, its amazing, its also on youtube

salamualaikum i think qari abdulbasit is the best mashallah but abdurahman sadien is also very good i hope i will become like abdulbasit one day i am 14 and every day i read quran and recite quran in the style of abdulbasit i am still practising pray for me brothers

I agree that Abdel Basit is the best ever. Qari Sadien is also very good. Can a student be greater than his teacher? Of course he can. Maybe not in this case, but certainly can. Both have a gift bestowed upon them by allah swt.
