Backwards Piano! (as seen on Ellen! and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno)

As seen on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Ellen Show.

This is me playing the piano backwards. Yes, I know this is splattered with wrong notes and edits, it's more meant to showcase the trick rather than exhibit musical talent. I can't reach the pedals with my legs backwards, so that kind of ruins the song a bit. Trust me, I'm much better when I'm actually facing the keys.

If you're wondering how I actually go about doing this, I have a genetic ligament-loosening disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (Hypermobility Type). I have loose ligaments and hypermobile joints, which allows me to rotrate my shoulders out of socket and play the piano backwards like this. Enjoy.

EDS does not "sound worse than it is". As someone with EDS, I know that you're lucky. I live with the pain of EDS EVERY day. I did stupid stunts like this as a child, but I wasn't as fortunate as you are and by the time I was 19 needed assistance walking and getting dressed. I sincerely hope you can even play the piano in 10 years from now, let alone use your EDS to 'entertain' and joke about the disorder. Its a VERY serious, painful, and debilitating disorder for most who have EDS,

If you pay closer attention, you will realize that it was the journalist who said "it's not as bad as it sounds," and not me. I encourage you to read the description of this video where I state my intention not to make a mockery of a very serious disorder.
