  • Nice tune! Why is it that all you ever hear is the Buckingham - Nix stuff while this goes unoticed?

  • Spencer occasionally played piano, in fact that was all he did on "Then Play On" (and only on a few tracks), it wasn't a major contribution of his to their sound (as you said, McVie played on most of the earlier albums, albeit under her original name until TPO, hence my point to hlmmoore). Also, I was refering to McVie in her capacity as a "member". Good comment though.

  • Absolutely beautiful!

  • Not true; Jeremy Spencer also played piano. And Christine played on every album except the first one. You can hear her voice on "Station Man". She didn't officially join until after Kiln House was recorded, and they needed her to tour with them to fill out their sound.

  • Never heard this before.... but wow! really nice soothing music when you feel a bit melancoly about days gone by in early Fleet' music. Great!

  • My mother knew this guy in the 70's in Ealing, v. nice guy apparently. Sorry to hear he's gone.

Lively sweet piece of music : )

  • A beautiful instrumental – I got the Penguin album while in high school and recall a friend of mine and I listening to it at his house as we put it on cassette tape. I love the sound of Bob Weston playing guitar. RIP and thank you very much for your music…

  • "If she in there I loved it. If she's not I hate it" is frankly not very sound reasoning.

  • I love this track. I was shocked to hear the news about Bob Weston.

  • Christine McVie is in there, that's her playing the piano. This was her third album with Fleetwood Mac (after "Future Games" and "Bare Trees"). Remember, of all sixteen musicians who were/are members of Fleetwood Mac over the bands history, Christine was the only keyboard player, and she was a member of the band for 12 of the band's 17 studio albums (missing the first four and the most recent one respectively), so any song with piano/keyboards almost certainly features her.
