ok this always happens when i hear girls with nice voices sing guys songs. you're doing YOUR voice justice singing this low just like its bad when i try to sing so high trying to cover a female's song. try this: C, Dm, F, C and on the second part you play: C, G, F, Am, G and if that's too high for you try the old chords but with the capo on the third fret.
try it now as a test and let me know how it went
oh and also lsn to @MrCugo's advice

@TheBlueSnake This was the right range for me. I can't really sing high. I'm actually a contralto.

This will probably get thumbed down, but that's OK because anyone who knows what they are talking about will know that this is constructive.
You need to work on string muting. It sounds like your low E-string is ringing out on nearly every chord you play. Many players wrap their thumb around the top of the neck when playing chords like A and D to mute the low E. If you can't do this, you might consider buying a thinner-necked guitar.
Your playing might then sound as good as your singing.

@MrCugo Hah! You're telling me! I have a hard time with this guitar because the neck is really wide and I have small hands.
