1990s was the best decade of football

very old video with some "updated" footage from the 2002 WC. Music is Blur's extremely popular "song 2." It broke all sorts of records in 1997 and became an unofficial world-wide football anthem in part because it was the intro song for EA's brilliant 3d pc/psx/n64 game Fifa 98 Road to the World Cup.

I look at football today and all I notice is managers slandering one another, players getting sent off FAR too easily which ruins matches, world cups and euros with an average of less than 2.5 goals per match, everyone whining about how much footballers are paid, pundits like Adrian Chiles and Gabby Logan [says it all], newspapers who seem to think we are more interested in players' WAGs and families than the game they play, the ball getting kicked straight from one goalkeeper to another [CONT]
