Sonic Heroes Super Hard Mode - Ocean Palace

I couldn't sleep, so I'm just going to upload this for now. This is Ocean Palace, the second stage, in Super Hard Mode. The glitchiness started getting the best of me from here on out, as I died over here towards the beginning--at the end of the second loop, Knuckles just slipped right off and fell to a watery death.

Why on earth is every stage in this game (except Mystic Mansion) just a series of platforms over a massive bottomless pit?

At 1:50, there is supposed to be a giant fan for Knuckles to do the Triangle Dive. Is this version on a different system or is it a beta version? I don't really know, but I had this on a GameCube and I'm positive there was a giant fan there.
