Alan Watts is important because he built a bridge between East and West. But this bridge is different because, whereas the bridge the West built towards the East was forceful and obligingly converting, the bridge from East to West flows like a river of natural, peaceful wisdom.

Alan was very important to me in my 20's then I read Robert Pirsigs book, that seemed to focus so much for me. Then I got married raised kids now in my late 50's non duality has gained new traction for myself over the past several years.Guess I was not really ready for the wisdom of Alan at the younger age. Alan is timeless.

@JosephEaorle I think it just looks like one.. Me and a couple friends saw what we thought was a large dog laying on the floor at the far end of my dormitory hall way one time and it turned out to be a mass of paper bags.. LOL!!!!

@bonnietroon basic "child" rhythms?? you mean like, a heart beat? breathing? sunrise/sunset? .... action that is truly without "intellect" is most profound action ... perhaps it is you who is not yet "getting it" ?? namaste

@bonnietroon ha ha, I do get it. Country music isn't so much greater friend. I listen to intelligent hip hop / rap. It is not very mainstream, you kind of have to go looking for it. But it exists. And you cannot deny it. Anyway, I posted the video that you are coming to to watch in hopes of improving your knowledge and or augmenting your ability to "get it" so...
Grow up - what a rhetorical capstone. I guess I really need to, huh bonnie?

@takepills the internet is just a tool, it does not solve all of our information needs but is quite useful for a number of purposes, no denying that.
is there a cat in the upper left corner of this picture?

I took the photo in the bolivian amazon.
I don't think there was a jaguar or tree climbing aligator up there but I could be wrong.
