I guess this verse was written in 1988, and Cage re recorded it some years later... It sounds like he dubbed himself over the original track. As you can hear, he was very talented from the start....

not only rappers when they used drugs were a lot better than when they stopped - To mention a few; CAGE, Eminem (much of his old shit rocks - look at him today he fucking sucks)

Not to mention other singers/bands in other categories: Rolling Stones, Beatles, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed (all their greatest shit comes from drugs)
