@midgerm This is part of the Alien single-player campaign. One of the very first species you play, because someone got careless with the crate and left it unguarded. Then some vibration knocked it down and the egg is exposed...

And uh, this game is very much linear. Free roam is almost non-existent....

@HighVoltageWeed The facehugger wraps its "fingers" around the head and wraps its tail around their throat which renders them unconcious, it slides a wet tube down their throat and lays a baby alien in their chest, it eventually eats its way out, killing the host.
