Whipping Scene 2 from "Dragonard"

An Afro female kitchen slave takes our white slave hero some muffins at night and winds up being whipped in this 1987 film.

From IMDB: In 1747, a handsome but rebellious Scotsman named Richard Abdee is auctioned off as a slave on a Caribbean island controlled by French and British sugar-planters. When caught having sex with his owner's wife, Abdee is given 100 lashes with the dreaded "dragonard" whip. This sentence is meant to be fatal but Abdee survives and later joins in a slave revolt which puts an end to the island's era of savage whippings.

IMDB users generally disdain this film - only gets a 3.4 rating. The film portrays the landed gentry as decadent fops and has lots of objectionable cruel violence.

@Armornone I'm not sure...I know that later the fop catches the Scotsman having sex with his wife and has him beaten almost to death for it. But I'm getting the story in bits and pieces...maybe the fop is hoping to encourage their affair so he has an excuse to kill the Scotsman?
