Obama actually cuts something, buts its so tiny its an insult. $100M out of a multi trillion dollar budget? Thats like one latte a month. Then he asks for $100B for the IMF, more global wealth distribution. The producers pay and pay, as usual. What can we do? How do we change this? I mean the Republicans were just as bad, supposedly fiscal conservatives, balloned the budget as well. Do you think we are really seeing true fiscal conservatism from the GOP, or just a blatant attempt to ride the coattails of the populist taxpayer rage? Do you really think the GOP is on our side? And a third party is out of the question. How can we turn things around without a real revolution? Where Is Ron Paul and Who Is John Galt?

what i've been saying 20yrs. this an empire. a revolution will straighten this out. when we lay on our death beds 30yrs from now pondering our menial task filled lives, knowing that it could have been different if we had united (NOW) , then will we realize we would give anything , all of the life we've lived, to be at this spot again , with just one chance to do it over again???? the time is now, get these polotical cronies that have stolen our dreams out of washington (thanks for the help mel)

No, I think he made a good point here. I think it is wise to remember that party doesn't necessarily mean anything. There are bad and corrupt Republicans that do not hold true to the values of the Republican Party. Its easy to hate Democrats right now because the majority of the party has swung so far to the left. However, its not smart to just believe every word every Republican says either. If you do that, you can end up being just as stupid and naive as most of the Obama supporters are.

I think the republican party can be a home for fiscal conservatives, ONLY if WE get fiscal conservatives into the election hopper now, it that way they will be there for us to vote for when we need them.

RINO (republican in name only) is a major problem. That term exists because republicans are SUPPOSED to be fiscal conservatives!! The answer is not with the politicians agreed, It's with US! WE put them there. And WE can fix it. It just takes waking people up, I think it has started.
