Child Beggar at the Heart of Electronics City

I spotted this child beggar in Electronics City on Mar 17, 2009. I went their to see someone, along with my 4 year old daughter. We went to this land mark restaurant which is located in the center of Electronics City. Thousands of "affluent" IT engineers walk here everyday. Even the police station is located within 50 mts from this place. There this child sits with a old woman, begging.

Some people intentionally forget these things when they talk about Slumdong Millionaire projecting Inida in bad light. How do they react when these "horrible" things stare at them? As a community what do we owe to the society? What kind of our actions still can cause these incidents or situation to drag on....

Sir, please do let know the IT techies what steps they need to take to prevent such thing, will reporting to the police station help in this case. According to me, IT people should be acquainted to NGO's/Govt departments which provide shelter to such people and should to see to that child's future is secured..
