  • It kiils me the way these actors complain about what made them famous. It was TV... 99% of the things on TV aren't real. But I love the show to this day anyway. Matter of fact I'm sitting here right now watching Father Knows Best on Antenna TV here in Virginia. I'd rather watch shows like that then any trash they have on today. Some of the best shows in TV history was done in Black and White. Thumbs up to those who knows what I'm talking about...

  • I like Billy Gray but I don't agree with his opinion on Father Knows Best. I like it better than Leave it to Beaver & I have season 3 on dvd. Would never buy the Beavver shows tho' I know every episode. Father Knows Best excludes rock & roll in the teenage scenes & I think many people are enraged by that. The petty things people get bent out of shape over!!!

  • Geez, give him a break. So he has opinions about his show. Don't crucifiy him for that. He was great in the show--his personal life is HIS business!! Billy, you were a happy part of my growing-up. And hold your head up.

  • seeds and stems lol good one bud, grow up

  • he seemed like he lived in never never land

  • I heard his rants on other programs too he's ungrateful. About 20 years ago, he was on some talk show with other ex child stars. He was on his usual rant about the program that made him popular, bitching and moaning about his program, and started saying something I've forgotten, but the late Spanky McFarland took him down a peg or two. He told him he ought to be ashamed of himself and told him in he were his fathers son, he would have been taken behind the wood shed talking the way he did.

  • At 73 today, I bet he's not still running those speedway bikes that he had hoped would go on forever. ;D But he was smart enought to set himself up with the income from the show. So if he want's to complain a little, fine. As if the rest of us are perfect enough to spite hime for it.

  • What a dick head. Poor lad admittedly never had to work again after the show ended. Talk about being outside the reality most of us live in. I feel sorry for him.

  • He became a radical. Probably in the 60s.

  • If you want to find another great series like this, I suggest you look at the Donna Reed show. Some of them are on DVD etc. Quite a nice show.

  • I wonder if he is also annoyed by the current crop of TV. To me, there seems to be a phony con game going on in Hollywood Decision Making circles all the time. Example, now perhaps to build up the ego of American blacks, we see on TV a black mayor in NYC (blue bloods) a black governor in Hawaii 5-0, and 24 had a black president etc. It seems they are trying to help that community forget all the trouble with crime etc in the 'hood by ignoring the real difficulties encountered by black folks.

  • what.... i always watch his show father knows best with love in my eyes for him :/ recent after those shows he was on drugs? :( ugh its gong to be so hard to enjoy that show now :/
