  • Edit>Preferences>General

    Click 'Import Settings'

Change the 'Import Using' tab thing from 'AAC Encoder' to 'MP3 Encoder.'

Now you can convert to MP3. :)

  • Thanks a lot Black Nirvana, that is valuable information. I got better results at the 192 kbps rate; music sounds much better.

  • @ckgangl okay yoda

  • Your jumping thought to many hopes make it better simple

  • when i send the file to my phone it comes up blank.

  • i meant 192 kbps. but i still left it on custom and i also left it on stereo only thing i changed was the music options i just changed it to 30 seconds since it is a ringtone

  • this worked for me only thing i'll say is that when i changed the kbps to 32 it sounded muffled. i just left it at 132 it at 132 and it sounds just as it did when i play it in itunes idk maybe some phones are different either way it helped out alot man thanks

  • when i get them in the message on my phone there is no audio

  • Thanks so much! This was great! It really helped a ton!
