@mcproductions91 The free market is not a failure, the government intervening in the private sector is a failure. A prime example is what Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac did to the housing market by pushing high risk loans.

@mcproductions91 Our government run schools encourage our students to read, and our literacy rate in the public school system has declined substantially over the past 4 decades. It may not be encouraging laziness, but eventually Chavez-style policies lead to a welfare culture and mentality. But if the Venezulan people elect him over and over, that is they're choice, but what's popular is not always what's right.

@mcproductions91 I don't blame blame the Palestinians plurally. But something is fundamentally wrong with Palestinian culture when young children are taught in school that Jews are evil and should be killed. And it's not a few isolated events, its extremely widespread. Hamas gets elected by the Palestinians and thenshoots rockets into Israel (intentionally from densely populated areas). The Israelis respond, and when civilians are killed Hamas uses thier deaths for propaganda.

Chavez is creating a welfare state in Venezula and welfare programs here in America are just a tuned down version of those types of policies. He's striving for systems that have brought Europe to it's knees.

Take a look at the Hamas Charter and the actual history of Palestine. the Palestinians never had a state there, it was a British mandate for many years and even before Israel's independence, Haj Amin al-Husseini (Palestinian Grand Mufti of Jerusalem) was helping Hitler by delivering him Jews from Palestine.

That makes BOTH palestinian "governments", who were elected by the Palestinian PEOPLE, bloodthirsty nazi wannabes.
