This is a seizure brought on by low blood sugars. My daughter has been diagnosed with Hyperinsulinism. It helped to record these and show them to a Dr. I believe this helped me get her care sooner.

My daughter had 2 seizures that I witnessed. I am sure they were caused by low blood sugars.

I hope that you receive answers for you son soon. If you are not satisfied I suggest you keep searching for the answers. I initally had a bit of trouble getting a Dr. to listen to me. I moved on to a second opinion to get her help sooner. I knew the second time that they were going to help her because they were reaching out to CHOP to find the answers for her. I kept a camera on hand to record it.

We went to CHOP as well. She was not diagnosed until she was around 4 months. Every time she had a low blood sugar they would feed her and then retest. She had lows of around 20 or less, that I can remember. She would also stop breathing for minutes at a time. It was very scary. When I showed this video to one dr. he said that she just didn't want to see me that day. I didn't believe him and went to another dr. :)

my son has HI ( not sure what type yet) and also suffers from seizures but we arent sure of the cause of the seizures because his sugar levels where normal when the seizures happen. My son does the same thing with his head moves it back and forth over and over on a daily and i think its not normal but the doctors havent seen him do it so they are making nothing of it..

Were did you go for treatment.  We were at CHOP in Philly. Our son had blood sugars of 5 and zero around 30 hours after birth. He suffered from seizures as well.
