Marijuana Activist Debates Former ATF Head on Second Amendment

MPP director of government relations Steve Fox appears on Fox & Friends to debate former ATF director Mike Sullivan. On September 21, 2011, the ATF issued a memo to all federally licensed firearms dealers telling them that it was a violation of federal law to sell guns or ammunition to anyone that uses marijuana to relieve an illness, even if they are obeying state medical marijuana laws. The ATF considers medical marijuana patients to be abusing or addicted to marijuana, and therefore subject to the Federal Firearms Act, while people that use other prescription drugs or alcohol are still permitted to purchase firearms. 10/03/2011

this sh*t infuriates me. first off that explains it right there, an old dumb sh*t who has no idea what pot is makes a law like that. You cant take away someones 2nd amendment rights why do the old shts on capital hill have no idea what the hell they dealing wit, Who gets high and wants to shoot someone? If they goin to "interpret" it in a way keeps pot smokers from they guaranteed rights, then take em rights from everyone, because everyone drinks coffee or takes tylenol - those are all drugs!

@alexren916 listen my brother. it's comments like this that keep this issue from being taken seriously by so many people.. There's TONS of people who, while 'soft' on whether or not pot should be legal and actually lean toward the end of prohibition, are (ignorantly) convinced that this is only an issue for "stoners".. The FACE of the movement has Got to become more 'mainstream'. it aint fair, but its reality.
