jdgssf - lol George's portfolio of music AFTER the Beatles was comprised of music REJECTED by the Beatles. Since I think these guys probably knew a little about what was or what was NOT "good music", then I defer to them. Let's not forget that George's biggest post-Beatle hit turned out to be PLAGIARIZED. As for George's guitar, I just grimace when I hear his jangly, discordant guitar work. The way he overused the SLIDE was appalling. The others were not around to tell him "ENOUGH"!

I can't find out for sure if that's Billy Preston walking in front of the piano as it passes by George --but a number of us think it is. And I like to think it is.

For what it's worth, as I understand it, George brought Billy Preston in to record with the Beatles and hey played keyboards, earning him the title of "5th Beatle".

I also noticed that after the Beatles, it was George's songs that created some of the unique sound that made them instantly recognizable. Rather than simply thinking that John and Paul didn't want do create that sound, I actually think it means that George's guitar was probably more responsible for that distinctive sound than anything else.

Great song that evokes the whole unbelievable Beatles era. George had a profound post Beatles creative life. Dark Horse indeed...

Great tune. Georgie always had talent in spades. He joined the beatles at only fourteen.
