I think that this Original version song by the late great Kate Smith is awesome. I can't believe the vulgarity and rude comments posted as to this is the true Marine Prayer or not which it is. Sad to mar the image of Kate.

@gramophoneshane Nothing after the fourth line in the first verse is in the Marine Hymn. I don't know where she got those lyrics.

@BushMass Actually, they are quite correct for the period. The lyrics you're referencing a more recent.
