  • any bears or wild animals to worry about out there?

  • @ShiningThru I was told while visiting that there were black bears in the area; and it feels wild enough up there that I don't think I would've been comfortable camping solo in the "primitive" site area. Then again, I'm kind of paranoid about bears...

  • Yeah we had a bear come right up to our capsite and open our food bin. But don't worry they're very easily scared away if you bang pans together and throw rocks at em.
