Touhoumon v1.53 playthrough: First catches on Route 1

Here we again, I got some poke balls as I make my first additions to my team on Route 1

Note: Normal music is a remix of Alice's theme.... very befitting since you go about capturing the precious touhoumon.

There's only two Touhoumon catchable on this route

Chen (Chibi form); ground type
She's more a quick attacker type; since her attack is nice and her speed good but her defensive stats are a bit below average. In the end you'll end up using her to OHKO things if anything. Her move list is alright but not great though she learns a variety of claw moves and such.; her ability is either Run away or Early Bird.

Mystia (Normal/Flying)
Her stats are rather balanced with an emphasis on attack and speed (speed a bit more so), and without glaring weakness (her SDef is stronger than her def). She has a pretty nice move list. Her ability is Diva, which when she's in the lead draws more random encounters (for precise details, go to Bulbapedia and look up illuminate (ability) )

Advent note (All Advent types have the ADVENT ability which blocks stats effects from damage attacks, but not purely status attacks): You can use a Sun stone on Chibi Mystia to get Advent Mystia; too bad all she really has over Ex Mystia is SDef and learning some moves sooner out of a weaker move list.

A note: A normal Fire Red guide or FAQ will work for many regards

@NoblesseGlint1 It's western-made patch of the US Firered rom in contrast to the original patch of jpn firered.

Ok, first of all, my version doesn't have the same soundtracks yours does, also, mines in english. Is this to be expected? Is the version your using not in English yet?

I prefer using the official japanese version because I feel it's the original intent while the english versions seem to have a bit TOO much outside imput for my comforts. Again you should search the ploosmer site for the Touhoumon thread.

Augh. I REALLY would like to know how to get the original JP music on the English-language Touhoumon that I've got . . .

A) you need the national dex later on in the game to evole it into AdMarisa

B) If you're using the english verison, I can't help much..... since it does many things differently than the original japanese version that I'm playing.
