'Geweldenaren Van Ver' (Tyrants From Afar) - A small short, trailer-style aiming at totally blowing away the audience and clear up the common misunderstanding - once and for all - that smaller studios in Holland indeed have enough experience and expertise to fulfill the task of doing realistic animated 3D.

So pop the corn, dim the light, max the volume... and... Enjoy!

  • I don't really want to react to this, but honesty puts me on the treshhold to say: "We are honoured that a 2 week job with a lot of inspiration got this much attention, evolving into another "trailer" and moving on to a hollywood feature film".

  • wow these people must be so pissed that their idea got ripped off and now the other people got a movie deal.

  • Nothing wrong with someone doing it better and longer. I like the other version better. Shows real directorialship. Geweldenaren Van Ver just shows technical skill. Thanks for the ideas!

  • @The3Dmasta

What you just stated is completely pointless. So, you're saying that a tech demo of 50's based robots has more potential than a cinematic story of robots (complete with real actors and people)?

  • You guys shouldn't complain. Panic Attack is a much better work of film/story plus it has better art direction. Your level of talent is very common here in Hollywood. While yours looked like a coomercial to a B-movie, theirs looked like an actual film clip. Cows?!... but no people...? Turn your anger and jealously into a better work of film next time. Competition always brings out the fight in all of us.

  • @thediamondjames Oh no!!! Bloody Hell! American Ninja is just a piece of shit since it's third part... The two first films were good... HAIL TO MICHEL DUDIKOFF!!! :D

  • @B4ULeon Yeah, we should remake the stuff that was diabolical, but in a good way. American Ninja 5 is screaming for a serious remake!

  • @AlexandraLovesActing Uhhhh but americans take dozens of korean and european movies every year and remake them too, what's the difference with latinos remaking them? Americans (north americans, of course) also remake latin soap operas such as Ugly Betty, so what's the difference?

  • ataque de panico is a plagiarism

  • Nice clip! :)

  • @freejaytea No, I don't turn nothing. Fede Álvarez is a good director and he design the shots perfectly, and his way to film is quite good... that's the reason why of his succes and the reason that Sam Raimi choose him to remake "Evil Dead" (that isn't a Sci-Fi film, you know). Anyway, the idea of "alien robot invaders" is really old, is not original from "Geweldenaren van Ver", Have you noticed about "War of the Worlds" and all the old stuff? Nowdays almost nothing is really original, damn God!

  • @The3Dmasta He, he!!! Yeah, and I respect your opinion, of course, only you know what you prefer and it's something subjetive. I´ve just said that it's uncorrect that Fede Álvarez STOLE this idea, he just besed his film on this one with permission of the autors.

  • @B4ULeon

    ok.ok.

but this here IS the better one, just my opinion ;)
