  • I amuse myself over how people take issues that are totally unrelated and bash the beijing olympics over it.

idiots spelt with a capital letter 'E'.

It's like telling a businessman 'do business with germans if you support nazism'. totally unrelated.

besides, presence of foreigners in the beijing olympics is pressuring the govt to crack down on racoon skinning and all such undertable stuff.

obviously,GO TO BEIJING OLYMPICS 2008 IF YOU SUPPORT CLEANING CHINA UP. makes more sense, yea?

  • I do a lot of competitive archery and for all those who think that 70 metres is a piece of cake all I can say is then why don't you join the Olympic team then? If it were that easy then everyone could get in? lol trust me getting a group of arrows into the inner of the gold at 70 metres is like trying to sniper someone's coat button off with a .50 cal gun. Its hard and its all about technique, concentration and a shit load of endurance !

  • version integrale, please do think before commenting...

The distance you shoot doesn't, in any way, contribute to your performance, it's about how good your technique is. I can just about hit the 60 meter target, but can I've got a record of about 270/300 on the 18 meter target, with a simple bow of about 26 lbs. It's about technique, not power.

  • its the olympics....

  • u guys must be terrible then. at my club theres 15 year olds shooting like 80 yards

  • really\/ are u guys like joking. ive jsut started archery at a club and i shoot 30 yards with some shit beginners wooden recurve bow and i get mostly gold when i get my bow ill move up to like 60. 77 yrads aint far man

  • Size of an SUV? Hell, make it the size of a barn!

  • 77 yards! - is that all?

I've got seven arrows left of 12. If I had to walk 77 yards - I'd have to get more arrows - and a target about the size of an SUV.

  • Excellent! Go USA Archery!

  • Its a Hoyt
