I just completed this quest. Please note the options are different for everyone but here's what mine were:

long brown rock = eucalyptus log (needed for every fire)

green gum drop rock = tansymum

red sphere rock = fevergrass

yellow egg rock = stinkbloom

orange squarish rock = primweed

purple tall rock = lavender

try the pools that only have 1 rock and write down what each rock stands for after you figure it out. I spoke to the ogre children for help and they said try the mud pool.
