  • I had just moved to Seattle and i participated and i really felt the community love. Awesome. I just mailed in my ballot for King County, i'm hoping we are not marching again for Ref 71 but if i need to i will go. Great video Eli

  • oh yeah. AWESOME video! Thanks Eli!

  • Osteomorphis, the problem is that in democracy there should never be a tyranny of the majority. Even in congress it takes a 2/3 vote to overturn something. A simple majority vote revoking basic civil rights is frightening. That's what we worry about.

It's not just about the word "marriage". It's about the 1000's of rights that you get when you are "married" that you DO NOT GET when that right is denied.

People now think, "Hell, if California can do it, so can we!"

    That's what we worry about!

  • I just wanted to say this was one of the most inspiring things I have participated in my lifetime. Thank you for doing a wonderful job capturing this on film!

  • I'm so proud of the community. Tens of thousands of people standing up for equal rights in cities across the country. It's a beautiful movement.

  • I don't get it? California voted for Prop 8 but why is that a problem? Saying prop 8 was a problem is like saying the 'will of the people,' or at least voters, was wrong. I'm sure Washington would have voted otherwise but California is a different state...I'm not too worried about it.

  • From a Californian to all of you that participated across the country THANK YOU!!!!

  • What an incredible day this was<3
