First tandem skydiving

Okay, haters, this one is for you! Here's a certain person -- before obesity -- on his first tandem sky dive in June 1999. Having a strong fear of heights, this was very, very very scary. It's funny how I act so nonchalant with these dudes but I'm filled with insane dread and terror. On the one hand, it was so scary that I would rather die than do it again. On the other hand, I would really like to do it. Funny how fear of heights and love of thrills don't cancel each other out very neatly. This was at Skydive Greene County near Cincinnati and Dayton. I recommend them. They're safe, fun, affordable, knowledgeable, respectful and where all the illegal base jumpers hang out.

that was awesome. I've gone skydiving once in my life and it was amazing... such a natural high. This place in Greene County sounds incredible!

"High Speed Dirt" by MEGADETH...about time someone used that song for these vids! Awesome day to jump man....it's a hell of a feeling isn't it? My first SOLO jump I think I can get in next week, winter weather permitting.
