I have to agree with the you about the CG. Personally I think the animation for this looks good, but why are so many animes using CG? It just doesn't look as nice. I will definitely still watch this though. I'm worried it won't look nearly as dark and gritty as the manga did though.

How many years has it been since Berserk began, and it's finally... Here. As a fan whose read the manga to date over countless times, the things I'm most happy about are the facial expressions, I saw some parts I recognise in the manga, and that makes me happy because getting the right facial expression at the right moment is the most crucial to me. You cannot believe how badly it can ruin a moment if it's not done right, but I'm happy to say I'm impressed, and cannot wait for this masterpiece.

@Rlucaciu The.. -series-? Lol, the first movie only shows to the end of the eclipse. Which is where the very shortlived anime stopped at. They really didn't spoil much of anything, and besides. To those who have no idea how the ending of the anime or the process of the manga went, they won't know the characters or what the hell is going on. I showed it to a friend, they asked a million questions, but overall just wanted to see the movie.
