Apex 34 Longboarding Tricks: Isn't Dead

It should be noted that Jake is not only a very good rider who has continued to progress since this was posted (this video is nearly two years old at this point) but also one of the best young up and coming videographers / editors in the sport.

If you think you are better than Jake in both film / video and riding, send us a video. We would love to see it. That said, in all cases you would do better to be practicing your skills than critiquing the skills of others.

i can give you 5 reasons why longboard tricks are generally harder to do than skateboard tricks:

1) the board's heavier

2) more balance is required

3) there usually isn't a kicktail

4) fewer people focus SOLELY on trick riding, therefore tricks aren't performed as much

5) longboards are more expensive and faster so people don't usually take their risks on a longboard.

im not dissing skateboarders. my brother skateboards. but find the word "hypocrite" in Webster and think before you speak

I actually can't believe he is 14, thats nuts...He's doing things i can't even do :D

Also, Original, is it hard to get on your flo team (if thats what you call it). Like what do you expect in a rider. Cause im looking to send you's a sponsor video in the coming 6 months. I know its a broad time limit but i hope to get it out asap. Just wondering, what you's look for in peoples riding?

And i was wondering if the Apex 34 would be a good sliding/tricks board to get? im almost 6foot and around 140pounds ad i've already got the pintail 40...really goo board too. Keep it up brother!
